Lobster (Palinuridae)
The family Palinuridae is a group of marine crustaceans that includes lobsters, crayfish, and rock lobsters. These animals are related to shrimp, crabs, and other crustaceans, and they are found in the shallow waters of the world’s oceans.
Lobsters are a type of seafood that are widely sought after for their succulent meat and delicate flavor. There are several species of lobster, but the most commonly consumed species is the American lobster (Homarus americanus), which is found in the North Atlantic Ocean. Lobsters have a hard exoskeleton that protects their body and provides support for their legs and other appendages. They have two large, grasping claws that they use to capture and crush prey, and they have five pairs of legs that they use for movement and for digging into the sand or mud.
